The China Rubber Industry is a monthly technical periodical of the China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Association, which was founded in 1953, sponsored by the Rubber Industry's Beijing Research & Design Institute, and edited and published by the China Rubber Industry's editorial office.
English abstracts of China Rubber Industry are used by American Chemical Abstracts (CA) and Britain's RAPRA Abstracts and are entered in an international database. It is also a high level Chinese periodical with a large circulation and specializes in the rubber industry, mainly on R&D in science and technology, product development, production, and market information. Its columns cover application theories, raw materials, formulas, product design, processes, equipment, testing and analysis, industrial trends, seminars, and domestic and foreign trends. The China Rubber Industry won the China periodical matrix double-award in 2001 and first prize for top Chinese periodicals in the petroleum and chemical industry, in 2002 and 2006, and was rated one of the 100 key science and technology periodicals in China in 2003 and 2005.
